The Parental Responsibility Agreement (Amendment) Regulations 2005 prescribe two Children Act forms for use from 30th December 2005.

C(PRA1) replaces the current C(PRA) form for a Parental Responsibility Agreement.

C(PRA2) is a new form for an agreement that a step-parent will assume parental responsibility for a child under the provisions of section 3 of the Children Act 1989.

Both forms must not be used before 30th December. The current Children Act form, C(PRA) must therefore continue to be used until 30th December but needs to be deleted thereafter.
