Section 190 of the Housing Act 2004 inserted a new section 142A into the Housing Act 1985.

The effect of these legislative provisions is the removal of the right for council tenants to acquire their properties on rent to mortgage terms from 18th July.

We have therefore updated these forms to take account of these legislative changes.

Practitioners should not use the current editions of these forms on or after 18th July and should not use the amended versions before 18th July.
