The Law Society has drafted this new Transaction form for use in connection with the sale of commonhold properties under the provisions of the National Conveyancing Protocol.

The Law Society's production of this new Seller's Commonhold Information Form follows a reference to this form on the fourth edition of PROP1, which was published last November.

We understand that an article explaining the background to PROP8 may appear in a subsequent edition of the Law Society's Gazette but practitioners can use PROP8 immediately.

Minor amendments have been made to PROP6 which is also available for your immediate use.
