The Inland Revenue have created appeal and postponement applications SDLT46 and SDLT47 in relation to Stamp Duty Land Tax:

You can appeal against:
Underpayment assessment
Application of penalties
Revenue notice to make information or documents available
An ongoing compliance case
The enquiry conclusions, or the amendment, or both
The amendment made to my Land Transaction Return on [date of amendment]

Please note that payment cannot be postponed unless you appeal against the amendment. You may have to pay interest if postponed tax turns out to be due.

Finally, minor amendments have been made to CON14E.

All forms can be used immediately.

We recommend that all SDLT form users update their OyezForms program to the latest version, V8.06F. For more information and an update please visit No login required.
