The Law Society's TransAction Working Party and Conveyancing and Land Law Committee completed a review of the National Conveyancing Protocol and the TransAction forms listed above.

This review was conducted in the light of the Land Registration Act 2002, the Land Registration Rules 2003 and the introduction of Stamp Duty Land Tax last year.

Practitioners can continue to use the current editions of PROP1, 4, 6 and 7 until 30th November when the fifth edition of the national Conveyancing Protocol comes into force, but not thereafter. The amended forms cannot be used before 8th October.
