On EFIS 22 earlier this month, we provided you with this new form which is prescribed under the Regulatory Reform (Business Tenancies) (England And Wales) Order 2003.

As a result of amendments to this Statutory Instrument, we have inserted additional text, advising the tenant to take advice if he or she does not want to lose the protection currently provided under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 .

The Regulatory Reform (Business Tenancies) (England And Wales) Order 2003 does not come into force until 1st June, so practitioners should only use this amended version of L&T35 on or after this date.
