Last month on EFIS 19/2003, we notified you of amendments to HUD8 and L&T51 in the light of Regulations which amended these forms in England.

The Leasehold Reform (Notices) (Amendment) (Wales) Regulations 2003 have now been published and represcribed L&T51 for use in Wales from 10th April.

Likewise, HUD8 has been amended by the Leasehold Reform (Collective Enfranchisement) (Counter-notices) (Wales) Regulations 2003, which again came into force on 10th April.

Practitioners should now be able to use the updated versions of both L&T51 and HUD8 either in England or Wales.
