The Long Residential Tenancies (Principal Forms) (Amendment) (England) Regulations 2002 have amended notes 2 and 3 of LGH1 and LGH2 to take account of changes made to section 16 of the Leasehold Reform Act 1967 by section 143 of the Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Act 2002.

The Long Residential Tenancies (Principal Forms) (Amendment) (England) Regulations 2002 will come into force only in England on 30th September.

Welsh customers should continue to use their existing versions of LGH1 and LGH2.

Practitioners in England can only use the amended versions of LGH1 and LGH2 from 30th September.

We have also taken this opportunity to amend page 4 of HUD6 which was last updated by EFIS 34 in July.

Both HA21A and HUD6 can be used immediately.
