The Court of Protection (Enduring Powers of Attorney) (Amendment No.2) Rules 2002 have represcribed EP2.

Transitional provisions permit the current version of EP2 to be used until 28th February 2003.

EP2 has been redesigned by the Public Guardianship Office to be compatible with a new computer system, which will be installed in October.

Because the Public Guardianship Office intend to scan the information submitted on the revised EP2 into their (new) computer system, Oyez need to ensure that the represcribed form will be compatible with the new computer system.

Accordingly, practitioners should continue to submit the existing version of EP2 until these technical issues have been resolved.

In any event, we will supply you with the amended version of EP2 before the end of February 2003.

Finally, CP5, CP28 and CPNOTLET have been updated in respect of a change of address of the Public Guardianship Office, made earlier this year. They can be used with immediate effect.
