The Legal Services Commission has advised us of miscellaneous amendments to the forms listed above.

Although these amended forms can be used on receipt, they must be used from 1st August except for CDS6 which practitioners should use to report August's return, which has to be submitted to the Legal Services Commission by 10th September 2001.

When we forwarded the new Criminal Defence Forms (CDS1-11) to you on EFIS 6 in March of this year, we explained that some forms had become obsolete as a result of the introduction of the General Criminal Contract.

The Legal Services Commission have now informed us that the forms listed below have also become obsolete and so we would advise practitioners to delete them from your system, unless you think that your practice will need them for cases which are already underway.

Please note that, CLAIM12 (Application for Payment on Account in Criminal Cases) will in future only be available from the Liverpool office of the Legal Services Commission.
