The Trustee Act 2000 (Commencement) Order 2001 brings the Trustee Act 2000 into force on 1st February. This Act seeks to implement changes advocated in a 1999 report by the Law Commission on "Trustees Powers and Duties". The main change is the creation of a wider statutory power of investment than that afforded under the more limited Trustee Investments Act 1961.
Oyez have added these three new forms to your Conveyancing package to cater for situations where trustees either appoint a manager to manage the assets of a trust, appoint a custodian to look after the trust property and maintain the records or appoint a nominee who acts on the trustees' behalf.
