The Family Proceedings (Amendment) Rules 2000 amend Ancillary Relief Forms DIV_A, E, H and I from 1st December to coincide with the introduction of pension sharing on divorce.

Existing Divorce Petition forms DIV1H-5H and DIV1W-5W have been combined into one Divorce Petition for each ground of divorce and have been renumbered, accordingly.

These combined forms DIV1-5 and form DIV6 have been amended to reflect the introduction of pension sharing. None of the old forms DIV1H-5H and DIV1W-5W should therefore be used after 1st December, except where you think your firm may need to refer back to old cases begun before 1st December.

Consideration should be given to deleting obsolete forms DIV1H-5H, DIV1W-5W, NOTES1and 2 from your system. Instructions are enclosed.

DIV_Notes1 contains information on filling in forms DIV1-5. DIV_Notes2 cover Form DIV6.

Finally, forms DIV117 and DIV118 are new forms for pension sharing on divorce. DIV117 requires the pension provider to furnish certain information under the Family Proceedings (Amendment) Rules 2000. DIV118 confirms that the Court is satisfied that such information has been provided and that the order will take effect from a certain date.
