At the same time as making minor changes to N9C, we have taken the opportunity to add N117 to your range of Civil Procedure forms. N117 is a general form of undertaking which a litigant gives to the Court in which he or she makes certain promises which if broken, can lead to imprisonment for contempt of court.

N244 has just been amended by the Court Service in respect of the information contained in the box in the top left-hand corner. Practitioners should note that this form has been increased in size to 4 pages in order to allow users greater Flexi bility when completing N244 on screen. Likewise, the Court Service have amended both the guidance notes and part of the text on N293A which is now supplied to you for immediate use.

Finally, we enclose N312 which was one of the forms previously available to you in our County Court range of forms but which has now been updated to reflect changes introduced by the Civil Procedure Rules 1999.
