LR END1 -Electronic Notification for Discharge [LREND1]

END1 is a new form which the Land Registry have introduced where authorised lenders wish to send an electronic message as evidence of the discharge of a legal charge.

END1 takes the place of Form DS1.

Practitioners should obtain Practice Leaflet No.30 from the Land Registry which sets out the new system in greater detail.

END1 does not cause the charge to be cancelled by itself. END1 must still be combined with a formal application to the Land Registry in either Form AP1 or DS2.

Practitioners must not use this new Form END1 before 1st February.
