Customising a Form Template

While the backdrop of any form cannot be edited, it is possible to modify the interactive elements of a form as described below.

Once altered, it is possible to save the custom template for subsequent re-use.

Fill-in fields can be added/modified

  1. Select INSERT>ADD FIELD
  2. A new field will appear in the top-left of the form page in resize mode
  3. Move and resize to the position/size you require, then double-click to lock it in edit mode (double-clicking again reverts to resize mode)
  4. In edit mode, right-clicking and selecting PROPERTIES allows field behaviour such as line spacing, character spacing, character limitations etc. to be specified.

Existing fields can also be changed using the above techniques.

New pages can added

  1. Select INSERT>APPEND BLANK PAGE
  2. Add a field, as above*
  3. Right-click on the new page and select PROPERTIES to set postion of the new page in the document.**

* In OyezForms 10.00T+, a full-page fill-in field is automatically added.
** In OyezForms 10.00T+, you can control the destination position of the inserted page when pasting it.

Existing Pages can be duplicated

  1. Select EDIT>COPY PAGE
  2. Select EDIT>PASTE PAGE
  3. The duplicate page will appear at the back of the form, right-click on the new page and select PROPERTIES to set postion of the new page in the document**

** In OyezForms 10.00T+, you can control the destination position of the inserted page when pasting it.

Pages can be deleted

  1. Select EDIT>CUT PAGE*

* This not recommended in self-calculating forms
