Following the general release of the new BASPI – the Buyer’s and Seller’s Property Information form earlier in the year, the form has now been added to the library and is available for immediate use.

The BASPI has been developed as a ‘single source of truth’ containing all the information required about a property when it is put on the market for sale and is designed to speed up the legal process of property sale and purchase. It is used as part of the legal process for selling a property, required by the seller’s duty to disclose known defects and the estate agent’s duty to disclose material information, and it forms part of the contract for sale.
