The Land Registry has created this new form which can be used to update the name of a private individual who is the registered owner of a property, following a change of gender.

When using this new form, applicants should supply a copy of their gender recognition certificate, new birth certificate or a UK medical practitioner's letter.

This new form can be used immediately.
