Her Majesty's Courts and Tribunal Service (HMCTS) has amended this Adoption form A58 and accompanying guidance notes for use from 24th July.

The main amendment affects Part 2 of A58 which will now provide greater clarity about the different orders to which a child may be subject, according to the jurisdiction which makes the relevant order.

The notes which accompany A58 have also been amended to include additional information for the benefit of applicants.

Although the current version of A58 will still be accepted until 31st July, HMCTS will only accept the latest version of A58 for adoption applications made on and after 1st August.
