The Family Procedure (Amendment No.3) Rules 2016 will come into force on 14th November and amend rule 14.2 of the Family Procedure Rules 2010 which makes provision for the assignment of serial numbers to adoptive parents or prospective adoptive parents in adoption and other proceedings which helps to keep their identity confidential.

The Ministry of Justice has amended the forms listed and their accompanying guidance notes to reflect the mandatory assignment of serial numbers in these types of cases.

Subscribers to this range should use the latest versions of the amended forms for applications made on and after 14th November.
