The Courts and Tribunals Fee Remissions Order 2013 will introduce a new, standardised fee remission system for courts and tribunals on 7th October.

The Ministry of Justice has amended Form EX160 to reflect these changes and also the booklet EX160A, which should be read before applicants complete EX160.

The accompanying guidance notes EX160(N) have been deleted from the range. Access to these notes can now been found in the form of a link on EX160.

EX160B is a new form which we have added to this range. It should only be used in emergency situations where an undertaking is given to apply for remission of a court or tribunal fee.

Both EX160 and EX160B should not be used before 7th October .

Forms affected

EX160(N) Application for a fee exemption or remission (Notes) Withdrawn
EX160B Undertaking to apply for remission of a court fee or tribunal fee, or to pay a court fee or tribunal fee New/Amended
EX160 Application for a Fee Remission New/Amended
