EFIS 45, July 2012 : Immigration - Applications

You must login to download the contents of this EFIS.

Pursuant to the information which we supplied you with on EFIS 43/2012 last week, immigration practitioners are advised to use these latest versions of FLR(M) and FLR(O) for applications made on or after 9th July.

On 16th July, the Immigration (European Economic Area) (Amendment) Regulations 2002 came into force.

These amended Regulations outline the legal rights of EEA nationals and their family members to enter and live in the UK and they also clarify the criteria for the right to permanent abode in the UK.

The UK Border Agency has updated EEA2 as a result of these latest Regulations.

We will supply you with this amended version of EEA2 towards the end of this month when we will also provide you with last week's amendments to the FLR(P), SET(F), SET(M) and SET(O) forms which were listed on Efis No 43/2012.

Practitioners can obtain further information about these latest changes from the news sections of the UK Border Agency's website at www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk.

These forms must be used immediately.
