EFIS 42, July 2009 : Divorce

The Ministry of Justice has amended both the form EX160 and its accompanying notes EX160(N) to reflect an increase in eligibility for the gross annual income of applicants who seek a remission in court fees which the Family Proceedings Fees (Amendment) Order 2009 and Non-Contentious Probate Fees (Amendment) Order 2009 will introduce on 13th July.

Customers are requested not to use the amended version of EX160 or EX160(N) before 13th July

In addition, the Family Proceedings Fees (Amendment) Order 2009 has increased the fee payable referred to in the notes which accompany DIV93 for each decade searched of the divorce index maintained at the Principal Registry in London from £40 to £60 for any searches made on or after 13th July.

Please also find available form DIV_E which has received a minor macro amendment and can be used immediately.
