EFIS 50, October 2007 : Civil Procedure

You must login to download the contents of this EFIS.

Earlier this month, we provided you with an amended version of EX160 and EX160(N) on EFIS No. 42/2007.

Her Majesty’s Courts Service (HMCS) has recently updated their booklet EX160A to accompany EX160 with consequential amendments to EX160(N).

In addition, however, we have taken the opportunity of this update to clarify some references on page 1 of EX160.

Where practitioners were previously referred to “…page 6 and 7 of the guidance” on EX160, this HMCS wording refers to pages 6 and 7 of the HMCS fees booklet numbered EX160A, but refers to page 2 of our EX160(N).

We have therefore inserted a reference to page 2 on EX160.

Finally, HMCS has made a minor amendment to correct an error in section 5 of the notes N5C which accompany N5B. Practitioners should note that only N5C has changed and not the form N5B itself.

All forms can be used immediately.

Forms affected

N5B Claim Form for Possession of Property (Accelerated procedure)(Assured shorthold tenancy) (including Notes N5C) New/Amended
EX160 Application for a Fee Remission New/Amended
EX160(N) Notes to Accompany Application for a Fee Exemption or Remission New/Amended
